We have been working with 3 urban artists, Inkie, DS and Jive, to create our latest range: Street Art Chess. We launched them at Clerkenwell Design Week to a great reception and they are now on sale at the Purling London online shop.We are collaborating with new gallery and private member’s club, Lights of Soho, which features neon art works by Tracey Emin and Gavin Turk. Members and guests can play on our illuminated ‘Dark Chess’ set in one of the underground arches of the club and can also purchase them through the gallery.

In June & July we participated in charity fundraisers for the Canine Trust and the Prince’s Trust. The former, held at Charterhouse, featured a game of chess between Grandmaster Raymond Keene OBE and International Master Malcolm Pein where the chess pieces were replaced with guide dogs. The later was the Grand Prix Ball at the Hurlingham Club which featured vintage F1 cars and a presentation by Sir Stirling Moss. We donated Purling London ‘Bold Chess’ sets to both events’ auctions to raise money for their respective charities.

Purling London has launched its brand new range of Bold Chess, featuring rich, vibrant colours such as Metallic Gold, Emerald Green and Hot Pink.  Visit our shop to see more.
